Organic Super Matcha Ceremonial 40 g

Super Matcha is a 100% organic finely ground green tea sourced from certified organic farms in the KIOTO prefecture (Japan). This is ceremonial matcha from the first harvest (1st harvest / ceremonial grade), characterized by its vibrant green color, exceptionally smooth taste without noticeable bitterness, and the highest quality leaves. Thanks to its naturally occurring caffeine, amino acids (L-theanine), vitamins, and minerals – Matcha has a stimulating effect while also promoting relaxation and well-being. Matcha contains over 137 times more antioxidants than regular green tea.

What is it about the magical, mystical properties of this finely ground green tea that makes it one of the most desired food ingredients for warriors of a healthy lifestyle and well-being?

According to science, matcha is something of a miraculous supplement. It makes you feel good and energized throughout the day. Remember that green tea naturally contains caffeine, and matcha is a more concentrated form of green tea, providing about 34 mg of caffeine per serving, while traditional green tea contains on average about 30 mg, and espresso about 60 mg. The L-theanine present in matcha ensures that energy is released gradually, supporting focus and overall well-being. Another important health benefit is that matcha, like green tea, contains antioxidants. The plant also has antimicrobial properties, particularly four types of catechins (antioxidant flavonoids), which act against several different types of microorganisms. Catechins may inhibit the growth of Fusobacterium nucleatum bacteria – responsible for tooth decay and periodontal disease.

Preparation method

How can I consume Matcha? Pour 200 ml of water at 70–80°C over half a small teaspoon of matcha. Whisk vigorously until a frothy layer forms. You can also add matcha to cakes, baked goods, mix it with milk, or blend it into your favorite smoothie.
